Surf Fishing Report:
The water was choppy and the wind kicked up mid morning. A few Spanish were caught on artificial lures, Pompano and Sea Mullet on the south beaches and this side of the bridge caught Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, some keepers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Spades, Specks and Spanish.
Nags Head: Spanish, Bluefish, Trout and Sea Mullet.
Jennette’s: Pigs, Bluefish, Pompano, Spade, Triggers, Sea Mullet, Trout and Flounder.
Outer Banks: Spanish, Trout and Blues.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Water was rough. Boat fishing in the channels caught Sea Mullet, Flounder, Blues and Keeper Flounder. Trout fishing was good in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
Fishing was more than fair for the fleet catching Blackfin, Yellowfin plenty Dolphin, citation Bigeyes and limited out with Tilefish.

The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Sunny, light winds, choppy small swells.
