Surf Fishing Report:
Wishing all Fathers a happy day.
The south beaches reported loads of Spanish at ramp 44 and 55. Lots of large Pompano and Sea Mullet at ramp 55. Frisco had Pompano, some citations and Sea Mullet. Sea Mullet, Trout and Pompano on this side of the bridge.
We had a quick drop in water temp last night when the wind switched to West. Southwest winds push the warm water near the surface of the Atlantic Ocean away from shore, allowing colder water along the bottom to move in. It is also called up-welling. The water temp can drop drastically and quickly when we have SW winds.

There will be no fishing report on Monday. Will catch up on Tuesday.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported many Trout and some bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Triggers.
Nags Head: Blues.
Jennette’s:
Outer Banks: Mullet, Spanish, good run of Trout early morning and Blues.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet caught a mix bag of Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin, Big-eye, Tilefish, Grouper and Amberjack. Also a report of a Sailfish and White Marlin release.

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Sunny, light winds, flat Ocean.
