Surf Fishing Report:
The first day of summer did not improve the fishing. The water was still cold and the wind was tough for anyone who might have giving it a try.
A couple of keeper Drum were caught in Buxton and some Sea Mullet scattered. I have no news from the north beaches. Conditions should improve some today. Waters clear and beautiful.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Mullet, Trout.
Nags Head: Flounder, Rockfish in the surf.
Jennette’s: Black Drum, Sea Mullet and Sheepshead
Outer Banks: Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught good numbers of Bluefish, Spanish and some Ribbonfish. Nearshore anglers decked some Sea Mullet, King Mackerel, Trout, Spot and Red Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
Only one boat sailed Friday and it was worth his time. He came back to shore with Tuna, Bigeye and Yellowfin.

The winds are NW at 8 and the water temp is 61 degrees. Sunny, light winds, calm Ocean.
