Surf Fishing Report:
It was a pleasant weekend. The weather was nice. There were Pompano spread up and down the beaches today with some Sea Mullet at Avon and Buxton. Hatteras reported Spanish and Bluefish. We had Bluefish and Mullet on this side of the Inlet. Michael Brone reported jumping Spanish in Corolla but no one catching.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported early morning Trout and Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish and Blues.
Nags Head: No contact.
Jennette’s: Spot, Bluefish, Black Drum, Sea Bass, Croaker, Flounder and Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Spot and Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore anglers are having a lot of Trout catches, Gray Trout and Red Drum whereas nearshore trolling boats are decking Spanish and Bluefish with some Bonita Mackerel. Sheepshead around the bridges.

Offshore Boats Report:
Another impressive day for the fleet catching Blackfin, Yellowfin, Bigeye, and Mahi. 2 White Marlin as well.

The winds are SE at 8 and the water temp is 69 degrees. Sunny, light winds, calm Ocean.
