Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing picked up some Monday with the clear water. Avon reported Spanish, Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Spot, Buxton had Spanish and Frisco caught Pompano and Sea Mullet. Hatteras beached Spanish and Bluefish. Shrimp, Sand fleas and blood worms was the bait. Wind is west again today and the water temp has already dropped and the water has muddied up some. Some Sea Mullet, Spot and Bluefish were caught on the North beaches.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout fishing slowed a little and some Spot and Croaker were caught.

Pier Fishing:
Avalon: Mullet and more cold water.
Nags Head: Mullet, Bluefish and spot.
Jennette’s: Croaker, Sea Mullet, Spot, Bluefish and a 3 lbs Sheepshead.
Outer Banks: Spot and Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The Inlet boats caught a good mix of sound fish including Bluefish, Flounder, Striped bass, Trout and Sheepshead. Nearshore Spanish and Bluefish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet is having spectacular days catching Bigeye weighing in up to 195 lbs, Yellowfin 53 lbs, Wahoo and Dolphin. Plenty of Tilefish were also caught

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Partly sunny, light winds, small swells, a few paddle boarders are out this morning,
