Surf Fishing Report:
It was a scorching hot day. There were some Croaker and Sea Mullet along the Hatteras beaches and a lot of Skate. Spanish were reported at ramp 45. A few Spot and Sea Mullet on the north beaches plus the Skate.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and a couple of Spanish.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Trout, a couple of Spanish and 2 keeper Flounder.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Sheepshead, Spot, Spadefish, Black Drum and Pinfish.
Outer Banks: A good bite of Spot yesterday and again today with Bluefish on lures.

Nearshore but trolling boats caught some Spanish and Bluefish. Sea Mullet, Trout and Flounder in the Inlet. I repeat it was a hot day.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fishing was fair yesterday for the bluewater fleet. They brought home some Wahoo, Bigeye, Yellowfin and a few Mahi.

The winds are N at 8 and the water temp is 67 degrees. Sunny, light, flat Ocean.
