Surf Fishing Report:
There were Sea Mullet, Croaker and some Bluefish reported in the Frisco and that’s all I got for Hatteras Island. Tom Peabody catching and releasing the Amberjack is the only exciting thing on this side of the bridge. I’m sure there were some bottom fish caught. I just did not hear about it. We definitely need the water to clean up and warm up.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Small Flounder.
Nags Head: Small Mullet, Flounder, Spot and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Skate and Pinfish.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Sand Perch.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Near shore anglers are still catching plenty of bluefish and Spanish and Trout fishing is really good in the sounds with some Red Drum added.

Offshore Boats Report:
It was an OK day for the few boats that ventured out. Yellowfin, Blackfin and a few Dolphin mixed in. A White and Blue Marlin were caught and released.

The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 60 degrees. Sunny, light winds, calm Ocean.
