Surf Fishing Report:
With the cold water and heat wave there is not much to report. I understand there were a few Bluefish and Puffers scattered about. The water temp has dropped some more. The good news there is a cool front coming through tonight and a wind switch.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported early morning Trout and Black Drum doing the day.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Not yet.
Nags Head: No contact.
Jennette’s: Flounder, Spot, Black Sea Bass and Blow Toads.
Outer Banks: Slow.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore anglers are catching beautiful Trout and nearshore reported Spanish, Bluefish, Specks, Sheepshead and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a slow day for the fleet. The wind continues to be a problem everyday plus the heat. Yellowfin, Blackfin and a few Big-eye with a Dolphin.
The winds are SW at 15 and the water temp is 57 degrees. Thunder storms, breezy, flat Ocean.
