Surf Fishing Report:
With the cooler weather, warmer ocean temperatures and the water cleaning up the fishing picked up some. Some Sea Mullet, Spanish and Bluefish were reported caught on the Island. A few Sea Mullet north of the Inlet. This morning it is a little breezy and the Ocean is a little choppy but fisherable.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported early morning Trout, Spot and Black drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Pier fishing is back this morning and I’m glad. I was having withdrawals.
Avalon: Bluefish, Spanish, Founder and Spot.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Spanish, Trout and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Spot, Spanish Bluefish and Croaker.
Outer Banks: Spanish, Croaker, Sea Mullet, Flounder and Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Anglers nearshore are decking Ribbonfish, Bluefish and Spanish. Inshore limiting out with Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
The change in wind and the cooler temperatures has been well welcomed by the offshore fleet. They caught Yellowfin, Blackfin, Wahoo, Big-eye up to 151 lbs, and some Mahi. Also a Sailfish release.

The winds are NE at 14 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Sunny, breezy, sloppy wind swell.
