Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fish was fair on the Island. Some Spanish, Bluefish and Pompano were caught and some Sea Mullet in Frisco. On the north beach’s some spot, Sea Mullet and a good bite of Bluefish in Duck. There is a bag limit for Bluefish. 15/day, only 5 over 24 in.
Water temp has dropped again and the water is murky.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Spot and Mullet.
Nags Head: Spot, lots of Spot.
Jennette’s: Spot, Sea Mullet, Flounder, Croaker and Black Sea Bass
Outer Banks: Spot Sea Mullet, Flounder and Bluefish.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Bluefish and Spanish caught nearshore, Sea Mullet, Flounder and Croakers in the Inlet and Trout caught in the sound.
Offshore Boats Report:
Another beautiful day off shore for the fleet. There were a few Billfish releases and the fleet brought home Yellowfin, Blackfin and Mahi.
