Surf Fishing Report:
I did not hear a lot of news from the Island. I know good size Pompano and citation Sea Mullet were caught at ramp 25. North of the Inlet there were Sea Mullet, Pompano and Bluefish. The Ocean is flat, clear and glassy this morning.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and nice Croaker.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Spanish.
Nags Head: Flounder, Bluefish and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Triggers, Spot, Puffer and Pigfish.
Outer Banks: Spot, Croaker, Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers decked Bluefish, Spanish, Albacore and some Cobia hookups as well. Inshore some King Mackerel, Albacore and Bluefish. Trout fishing remains good in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet caught generous amount of Mahi, Yellowfin Wahoo, and Blackfin.

The winds are NE at 6 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, flat Ocean.
