Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing was good on all the beaches with the north beaches on Hatteras Island catching Pompano, Sea Mullet, Spot and Bluefish in Avon, Spanish and Sea Mullet in Buxton with Spanish at the Point. Frisco had Sea Mullet and Pompano with Hatteras also having Sea Mullet and Bluefish. Local fisherman Joe White said the Drum bite and Bluefish bite was good at the Inlet. There were Spot, double headers in Kitty Hawk, Sea Mullet, Bluefish scattered on our beaches with Spanish caught far north in Carova.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 55 lb Shark, 30 lb Cobia, Spanish and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Spanish, Flounder, 2 Citation Kings, Trout, Bluefish and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Pigfish, Croaker, Black Sea Bass, Puffer, Sheepshead, Pompano and Spanish.
Outer Banks: Spot, Sea Mullet, Spanish, Bluefish, and Pompano

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore is catching Ribbonfish, Spanish and Bluefish. Good Trout fishing in the sounds.

Offshore Boats Report:
It has been a busy for offshore boats with the Alice Kelly Tournament finishing up with a 106 boats fishing and now the Pirates Cove Billfish tournament beginning.

The winds are S at 8 and the water temp is 69 degrees. Sunny, light winds, flat Ocean.
