Surf fishing is slow. Sea Mullet and Bluefish
The winds are NE at 1 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Water is flat and clear, no wind, overcast
Sound Fishing Report:
The anglers fishing Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway had a fair weekend. There were a lot of Spot. Leigh Dix reported catching 2 keeper Trout and Spot. He also caught the Oyster Toad under the Manteo Bridge.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish, Blues and Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Small Blues.
Jennette’s: Spanish and Blues.
Outer Banks: Blues and Spanish.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught Amberjack, Spanish and Dolphin.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet brought in some good catches despite some high winds in the afternoon. A good amount of Yellowfin, some Wahoo and Blue and White Marlin releases.
