Surf Fishing Report:
We had showers in the morning and really strong electrical storms in the afternoon. Surf fishing overall remains slow. A few Sea Mullet and Croakers north of Avon, and some Spanish south of the point in the evening. Nothing has been reported north of the Inlet but I would say there would be the usual bottom fish if you are fishing.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Puppy Drum, Flounder, Trout and Croakers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Flounder.
Nags Head: Spot, Mullet, Trout, False Albacore.
Jennette’s: Black Sea Bass, Croaker, Sea Mullet, Triggers, Spot, Bluefish and False Albacore.
Outer Banks: Spot.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught Spanish and Ribbonfish. Inshore Speckled Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
The blue water charters filled their fish boxes with plenty meat fish catching Mahi, Blackfin, Yellowfin and Wahoo. Tilefish were awarded to the bottom fishermen.

The winds are SW at 4 and the water temp is 67 degrees. Cloudy, calm winds, small swells.
