The conditions were not the best for surf fishing yesterday. Spanish, Bluefish and Sea Mullet were reported at the point.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish on cut bait.
Nags Head: Bluefish on cut bait and lures.
Jennette’s: No contact.
Outer Banks: Slow.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Bluefish and Spanish and Ribbon fish were caught nearhore.
Offshore Boats Report:
The boats braved the elements offshore again yesterday and caught Blackfin, Mahi, Wahoo and released Sailfish and Blue Marlin.
The winds are NE at 19 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Cloudy, windy, rough Ocean.
