Surf Fishing Report:
Nice size Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Croaker and I were told of people catching buckets of Spot.

The winds are SW at 14 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Sun is shining, hot and muggy; calling for thunderstorms late afternoon, water is flat.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum and Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet, Spadefish and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish, Croaker, Spot and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: Early morning Bluefish and Spanish bite.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boats caught their limits of Spanish and also Amberjacks. The inshore caught Spanish as well and added Amberjacks and Triggers to the mix.

John Sherman and Chris Earhart gave thanks to TW’s for their catch of Dolphin. Nice boat, like the name. (Picture).

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewater fleet is still catching large, fat Yellowfin Tuna. There were Bigeye weighing up to 111 lbs and Blackfin. A fair amount of Mahi Mahi were caught. 2 Sailfish releases.
