Surf Fishing Report:
The fishing from the surf picked up some yesterday. The Point reported Bluefish on metal with lots of Spinner Sharks and Black tips. South of the Point there were Spot, Pompano, and Sea Mullet beached. Frisco had some Sea Mullet, Pompano and Spot. Ramp 55 had Pompano Blues and Flounder. There were small Drum caught this side of the Inlet with some Sea Mullet and Croakers.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Spanish, Flounder, Mullet and a couple of Trout.
Jennette’s: Spanish Bluefish and Pompano.
Outer Banks: There were several big Drum caught last night in the 50, 49, 47 range. This morning Bluefish on metal.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers caught Spanish and Bluefish. The same for inshore adding lots of Specks.

Offshore Boats Report:
The rough seas are still a problem for the fleet. Only 3 bats made it out. There were some Marlin and Mahi caught.

The winds are SE at 5 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Sunny, light winds, weak swell.
