Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing is slow. There are scattered Sea Mullet, Croakers, Bluefish, small Black Drum and occasional Spot.

Cole Baldwin caught a nice Cobia fishing the surf in Duck. He was using a stingsilver on 10 lb test mono. Must have been quite a fight.

The winds are SW at 10 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Bright sun, hot days, waters flat and sparkling.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow, no keeper Trout, throwback Flounder and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Sea Mullet and Triggers.

Nags Head: Blues and Sea Mullet. An 80 lb Tarpon was caught yesterday.

Jennette’s:  Triggers and a nice run of Amberjack.

Outer Banks: Blues, Sea Mullet and small Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boats caught Cobia, King Macks, Amberjack and a 24 lb False Albacore. Nearshore trolling along the beaches caught plenty of Spanish and Bluefish.  A few Amberjacks were also caught. The headboat reported lots of Croakers, Gray Trout, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Flounder.

Offshore Boats Report:
Only 5 offshore boats sailed yesterday due to tough conditions. Those that did were well rewarded with large Yellowfin and nice size gaffer Dolphin.
