Surf Fishing Report:
Puppy Drum and Bluefish are biting in the Avon area. The Point reported Puppy Drum, Spanish and Bluefish. Ramp 49 anglers were beaching good numbers of Sea Mullet, some Puppy Drum and Bluefish. We have Bluefish, Trout and Puppy Drum scattered on our beaches.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 1 Pompano and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Trout, Flounder and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and Black Drum.
Outer Banks: 2 big Drum off the end, under-slot Drum, Bluefish, Spot and Pompano.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore boats reported Spanish, Bluefish and Trout. Nearshore Spanish, Bluefish, Trout and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
The rough conditions sent the fleet back to the docks early yesterday but they could still claim a good day of catching. They returned with a few Bar Jack, Blackfin and limits of Dolphin.

The winds are NE at 11 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Sunny, breezy, rough swell.
