Surf Fishing Report:
To give you a heads up there will be no fishing report on Tuesday morning. I have some pre surgery test that seems to be never ending.
Fishing improved yesterday on the Island. Buxton and Frisco reported Bluefish on lures and cut bait. Buxton also reported Puppies, Bluefish, Pompano and Sea Mullet. Hatteras caught a good variety with Bluefish, Spot, Sea Mullet, Pompano and a small Cobia. There were Drum, Trout, Pompano scattered on our beaches.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some keeper Trout this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puppy Drum, Black Drum, Sheepshead and Pompano.
Nags Head: Mullet, Spot and Puppies.
Jennette’s: Mullet.
Outer Banks: % big Red Drum last night, Spot and Mullet this morning.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore is catching Spanish and Bluefish and Sheepshead as well. Inshore Trout fishing remains good.

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a banner day for the fillet. Plenty of meat fish were caught. Wahoo, Black and Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi were caught. Good numbers of Billfish were also reported.

The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Sunny, light winds, small swells.
