Surf Fishing Report:
Really slow. Small Bluefish.

The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Another hot day, water is flat and crystal clear.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway has reported a few keeper Trout this morning and small Black Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 4 Cobia weighing in from 54 lbs to 35 lbs. (Catching as I speak 8:50 am) Small King Mack and all the Blues you want.

Nags Head: Blues and Spanish and a bunch of 12-14 in Amberjacks.

Jennette’s: Spadefish and Amberjack.

Outer Banks: Few Blues, Spadefish, Sea Mullet. A great run of Bluefish last night. Lot of Skates and Ray in the water and tons of bait in the water.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught plenty of Spanish and Bluefish and also had good Red Drum bite. Inshore reported a 75lb Cobia. The Oregon Inlet Headboat decked Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Spanish. Flounder and Sea Bass.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fishing is phenomenal. Huge Yellowfin, nice Blackfin and a generous amount of Dolphin. A citation Sailfish was released.
