Surf Fishing Report:
Anglers fishing the point caught Sea Mullet, small Puppy Drum and Pompano. It was also reported catches of Bluefish and Puppy Drum up and down the beaches. It is slow on this side of the bridge due to the lack of surf fishermen.
Another beautiful day on the Outerbanks. The ocean is warm, surfers are out early this morning, and the wind should switch later in the day and the fishing will pickup for the weekend.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Small Pompano and Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Spot and more Spot.
Jennette’s: Spot.
Outer Banks: few Spot, 1 Trout and under size Puppy Drum.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
It was a god day nearshore with many Spanish and some Bluefish. Inshore decked Specks, Puppy Drum and Bluefish.

Offshore Boats Report:
After several slow days the fleet had an awesome day. They caught a significant amount of Yellowfin and Blackfin, and an abundant of Dolphin, some King Mackerel, Wahoo and Billfish.

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 80 degrees. Sunny, light winds, clean swell.
