Surf Fishing Report:
I reported yesterday on the fishing report I thought the fishing would pickup with the wind switching to NE but I was not expecting the blow we got. I’m slipping. The Point had slot size Drum caught. There were Sea Mullet scattered on the beaches. Bluefish were reported in Hatteras.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Stripers, a few Trout early this morning, small Puppy Drum and Pins and Pigs.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Pompano, Bluefish, small Puppies.
Nags Head: Spot
Jennette’s: Spot, Bluefish and Puppy Drum.
Outer Banks: Spot, Mullet, Pompano and Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
A few Inlet boats fished and decked Trout and Puppy Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet stayed in the creek yesterday due to the weather.

The winds are NE at 15 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Overcast, windy, choppy surf.
