Surf Fishing Report:
We have some much needed rain this morning. Surf fishing improved some yesterday with the Cape reporting some Drum and Bluefish with a 41 inch big Drum. Pompano at ramp 43 with Bluefish and Puppy Drum in Frisco. We had Trout and Bluefish reported in S. Nags Head.
I also got an e-mail from Colin Dunn along with a picture. He said the sound was on fire. He caught over 100 keeper Trout plus the 27 in caught and release Kayak fishing.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
I see no one on the Piers this morning

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats caught their usual Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore limited out with Trout, some Bluefish and Stripers.

Offshore Boats Report:
Only a couple of boats braved the blow yesterday. They were well rewarded with some meat fish catching some Mahi, Yellowfin, Blackfin and Wahoo.

The winds are NE at 25 and the water temp is 48 degrees. Rain, high winds, rough Ocean.
