Surf Fishing Report:
A good amount of 30 to 35 inch Drum was caught at the Point with some Bluefish, Blow toads and Flounder. The Bluefish and Puppy Drum were scattered on the other Island beaches. Slow on the northern beaches with only some Bluefish news from S. Nags Head.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported really good Trout and Striper fishing.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout and Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: Mullet, Spot, Puppy Drum and Trout.
Jennette’s: 2 Red Drum released early. Croaker.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, black Drum and Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
An abundance of Trout and Stripers are caught inshore.

Offshore Boats Report:
It is certainly nice to start Monday morning with some news from the fleet this morning.
The fleet caught good numbers of Mahi, King Mackerel, some Wahoo and a few Tuna. There were also some Marlin releases.

The winds are SW at 9 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Rain, light winds, uneven swells.
