Surf Fishing Report:
The conditions are finally improving. Hatteras Island south beaches in the Avon area reported Puppy Drum, in the slot Drum, some citation Drum, Bluefish and Pompano. The Point had the same and added some Black Tips to the mix. Frisco had Bluefish and Drum as well. There should be some Bluefish and in the slot Puppies on our beaches but I did not get any concrete news from any one. I would be fishing today if I could.
Deer season is here and I have more deer pictures this morning. This gives me a chance to remind everyone to check out our large inventory of hunting supplies.
There will be no fishing report tomorrow. I have an appointment in Norfolk.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and Rockfish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Puppies, Pompano, Sea Mullet and Spot.
Nags Head: Black Drum, Puppy Drum, Trout, Mullet and Pompano
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Trout, Sea Mullet, Croaker, Spot and Pompano
Outer Banks: Puppy Drum in the surf, big Drum off the end, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Black Drum, Pompano and Croaker.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers decked the usual Spanish, Bluefish and some Ribbonfish. Trout fishing is still exceptionally good and Rockfish.

Offshore Boats Report:
Another day the fleet had to battle the weather. Only a few boats braved the conditions. They managed to return with Yellowfin, Blackfin and good numbers of Dolphin.

The winds are NW at 5 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, clean swell.
