Fishing Report:
There was a little more news reported yesterday from the surf. There were Drum on most of the beaches with citations recorded from ramp 30 and the Cape. The same with Mullet with citations at ramp 38 and 49. I would say Hatteras was the hot spot reporting Trout, one citation weighing in at 3.5#, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Puffers. There have been some Drum and Trout caught north of the Inlet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported are catching good numbers of Trout with keepers this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon Pier is hosting the annual Lions Club Tournament for the visually impaired this morning. Everyone is busy setting up but early there were some Puppy Drum in the wash and some Trout early.
Nags Head: Lions Club is also at Nags Head Pier and they are having good tournament catching Mullet, Trout, Drum, Black Drum and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Red Drum off the end, Bluefish, Trout, Sea mullet, Spot and Black Drum. Jennette’s are also hosting the Lions Club this morning.
Outer Banks: Keeper Puppies and Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No report.

Offshore Boats Report:
Stayed in the creek another day.

The winds are NW at 1 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Cloudy, no wind, messy swell.
