Surf Fishing Report:
Hatteras Island reported big Drum were caught on the north beach and the Point, Sea Mullet were biting everywhere and some big ones. There were scattered Bluefish and Trout in Hatteras.
Yesterday was a beautiful fall day on this sand bar. Trout were caught in the Avalon area and some Bluefish. Yesterday was a stellar day for the piers and we have more of the same today.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Keeper Trout and keeper Drum this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Bluefish, keeper size Flounder but can’t keep it, Black Drum and Puppies.
Nags Head: Trout, Bluefish Puppy Drum and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Specks.
Outer Banks: Blow toads, Sea Mullet, Trout up to 21 inches, Black Drum, Bluefish, and Pompano

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Anglers fishing the sounds caught lots of Stripers, Trout and Puppy Drum. Nearshore caught Stripers and Shark.

Offshore Boats Report:
Only a few boats sailed yesterday and they were well rewarded with Yellowfin, Blackfin, some Wahoo and plenty Dolphin.

The winds are E at 6 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, small surf.
