Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Bluefish, Puffers and nice Sea Mullet on Hatteras Island. Large keeper Trout and out of the slot Drum at Oregon Inlet. Bluefish and large Sea Mullet also on this side of the bridge.
Bob Gregory caught his Pompano in the marsh south of the Bodie Lighthouse in 3 ft of water. Go figure!
I received my annual big game hunting pictures from Doug Woods in Abingdon, MD. This year he is in Africa.
We have south winds this morning. Should be out of here for the next several days.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Small Puppy Drum, Black Drum and Pompano.
Nags Head: Mullet, Trout, Blow toads and Puppies.
Jennette’s: No report.
Outer Banks: Black Drum, Trout, Flounder, and Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught some Spanish, Bluefish and Dolphin while the Inlet boats caught Stripers and Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet is saying it was an astronomical day on the water. Lots of meat slams. Yellowfin, Blackfin, Dolphin and Wahoo.

The winds are S at 20 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Cloudy, strong winds, clean swell.
