Surf Fishing Report:
The ocean water is really warm. Good for playing, not the best for fishing. There are a few Sea Mullet and Croaker. Sand fleas are a good bait and plentiful now.  Just dig in the surf, put them in bucket sand and all.

The winds are NW at 7 and the water temp is 79 degrees. Water is perfect for the little kiddies. The day is not as hot and not calling for rain.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Flounder, Trout and Rockfish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet, Bluefish and a couple of keeper Trout.

Nags Head: Nothing.

Jennette’s: Triggerfish, Pigfish and Flounder. A 48 lb Cobia was caught yesterday.
