Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet were the fish of the day on Hatteras Island with many citations written. Citation size is 1 ½ lbs. There were Shark at the point and Puffer, Black Drum, Pompano, Croaker and Sea Mullet scattered. Avon area seems to have had a lot of action the last several days. Puffers, Bluefish and Trout with a few keepers reported in Avalon and Nags Head.
I am already eating Halloween candy this morning. I stocked up plenty so there would be plenty left over. Happy Halloween everyone and keep the kiddies safe.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout.
Nags Head: Trout, Mullet and Puppies
Jennette’s: Specks, Black Drum, Bluefish, Pompano, Flounder and Puffers.
Outer Banks: Trout, Pompano and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Striper and Trout fishing continues to be really good inshore. Nearshore Sheepshead and Red Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a good day on the water and when the day was done they had plenty fish laid out on the docks. A lot of Wahoo with one weighing in at 102 lbs, Yellowfin, some Blackfin and Mahi. There were White Marlin citations as well.

The winds are S at 15 and the water temp is 67 degrees. Chance of rain, windy, nice swell.
