Surf Fishing Report:
It was a good day and night to be to be surf fishing. There were 30+ Drum caught at the Point. Bluefish and Drum caught at the Jetties and in Hatteras Specks, Bluefish, Pompano and Sea Mullet scattered along the beaches. We had some nice size Trout caught again. When the weather permits we have had some nice Trout caught on this side of the bridge along with Mullet.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout.
Nags Head: Trout and Sea Mullet.
Jennette’s: Trout, Spot, Founder and Puffers.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Blow toads and Tout.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
I have no news from inshore or offshore.
Offshore Boats Report:
A few boats fished offshore and caught Mahi, Blackfin, and some Wahoo and released a Blue Marlin.
The winds are S at 8 and the water temp is 65 degrees. Cloudy, calm winds, clean swell.
