Surf Fishing Report:
Hatteras Island reported Red Drum at the point and Trout, Black Drum and Puppy Drum at the Jetties. On this side of the bridge Grover Sheldon said he had 90 minutes of fishing at low tide and it produced 7 pups, 2 keepers, 2 Flounder 16 & 17 in and a 20 inch Striper. The conditions were brutal and only one person on the beach. There were also fish caught in Nags Head. Nate Boyd caught a beautiful Mullet and Trout and I think it would be safe to say he also was the only person on the beach.
One nearshore boat tried his luck and caught 12 Stripped Bass.
A couple of boats did battle the weather yesterday and caught Yellowfin, Big-eye, one 170 lb citation and Wahoo.

The winds are NE at 36 gusting at 42 and the water temp is 56 degrees. Rain, strong winds and rough Ocean.
