Surf Fishing Report:
A few Sea Mullet reported from the surf. There is a little more movement in the water today. Maybe fishing will improve.

The winds are E at 14 and the water temp is 79 degrees. Calm and clear water.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Black Drum and small Trout. There were keeper Trout caught yesterday along with two 19 in size Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Spadefish, Pompano and Trout.

Nags Head: Small Cobia and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Burrfish, Puffers and Spadefish.

Outer Banks: Spadefish and early morning Blues.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore continues with good numbers of Blues and Spanish, some Amberjacks, Flounder and Red Drum releases. Nearshore also caught plenty of Blues and Spanish. The headboat caught their usual variety of bottom fish and Bluefish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a big Dolphin day for the fleet with several of the charters catching their limits. Very large Yellowfin were biting in good numbers and there were Blackfin and Wahoo as well. There were also Sailfish releases.
