Surf Fishing Report:
Fishing improved a little with the Point catching a few large and some Puppies and Specks at the Jetties. Further south Frisco also had some Puppy Drum and Hatteras had a variety catching Croaker, Sea Mullet, Trout, Black Drum and also Puppy Drum. There have been Trout and Puppy Drum in Nags Head. I understand it was a well kept secret for several days. I have never understood keeping a good location a secret because there are is no way you can catch my fish. Also the Trout and Drum have been on the north side of Avalon and Drum in Kitty Hawk. Jonah Goll sent word this morning he caught plenty 20 to 36 in Dogfish on a drum rig he bought at TW’s. That is expected with the SW wind we had yesterday but today the wind has switched.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Drum and a few Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout.
Nags Head: Trout and Drum.
Jennette’s: Trout.
Outer Banks: Keeper Trout and keeper Trout.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Striper fishing is fantastic right now in Mann’s Harbor. Sound fishing continues to be outstanding weather permitting.

Offshore Boats Report:
Stayed in the creek another day.

The winds are NE at 12 and the water temp is 57 degrees. Mostly cloudy, rain, breezy, choppy surf.
