Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Sea Mullet with sand fleas scattered. Calling for wind to switch to NE tomorrow. Maybe fishing will improve.  

The winds are W at 4 and the water temp has dropped to 61 degrees reported from the pier end of Army corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck. Cloudy most of the day, scattered showers late afternoon, water flat and clear. I have no rain this morning in KDH. Nags Head had a big storm early this morning with torrential rains and heavy lightening.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Striper, Black Drum and a couple of keeper Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Slow.

Outer Banks: Spadefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The nearshore charters returned to shore with a bounty of Spanish and limits of Amberjacks. The inshore boats caught Sharks, Ribbonfish and a citation 44 lb Cobia. Miss Oregon Inlet caught their usual bottom fish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet added good numbers of Yellowfin and Dolphin to their boxes and also brought in a citation Bigeye and a couple of citation Wahoo back to the docks.
