Fishing Report:
I am more than ready for a slight warm up we are having in the weather today.
With this cold weather we have had another problem with cold-stunned Turtles. This time there have been 100 Turtles reported. The Hatteras Island Wildlife Rehabilitation is on it.
We had our yearly “Tree Day” on the Outer Banks. A convoy of 24 pickup trucks from VA Beach made their way to the Outer Banks. The trees are to help trap sand and stabilize the beach. Thanks to our locals and VA Beach that collect the trees every year.
The winds are N at 24 and the water temp is 49 degrees. Sunny, windy, rough Ocean, white caps as far as you can see.
