Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing is overall low with a few Sea Mullet and small Bluefish from the surf. Every so often I can report on a drum. Joe White and Milton fished ramp 4 very early, in the rain and caught a couple beautiful Red Drum. Glad to see Milton out and fishing.

The winds are N at 9 and the water temp is 70 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum and Croaker.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and Amberjack.

Nags Head: Small Blues and Spadefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Triggerfish and Spadefish.

Outer Banks: Mullet, Bluefish, Flounder, Sand Perch, Rockfish. All very small.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The early storm was a problem for the open boats yesterday but a few fished and were well rewarded. The catches consisted of Ribbonfish, Red Drum, Cobia, Amberjack and plenty of Hammerheads. The nearshore had a good Spanish bite and plenty of Moonfish. The Headboat caught flounder, sea mullet, sea robin, grey trout, sea bass, puffers, croakers, pinfish, and pigfish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet caught a significant amount of stout Yellowfin and some nice Dolphin. There was a Sailfish release.
