Surf Fishing Report:
Anglers fishing the surf are catching Sea Mullet, Spot, Bluefish and small Flounder.

The winds are SW at 12 and the water temp is 61 degrees. Flat Ocean, bright sun, hot day.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, a few keepers, Black Drum and Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Just some Jacks.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and Bluefish. Water temp is 65.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Spot, Sand Perch and Crabs.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Good Cobia fishing for the nearshore boats with fantastic catches of Spanish, Bluefish and Amberjack. Inshore caught keeper Trout and they also caught Amberjack. The miss Oregon Inlet headboat reported keeper flounder; sea mullet, croakers, gray trout, puffers, pigs, pins, and some catch and release striper.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet is really having a good summer. Plenty of Yellowfin. Good catches of Dolphin with trophy citations and citation Wahoo as well. Billfish flags were also flying.
