Fishing Report:
All of my regular readers know I am a happy fishing reporter this morning. I have pictures and fishing report news.
Linda Harper and her son Rich known as the Trout whisperer had a fantastic day fishing with Capt Lee Johnson who fishes out of Oregon Inlet. Oregon Inlet also had a charter out yesterday catching Yellowfin. They released a Bluefin that was pushing 400 lbs.
I know there are people out fishing for Crappies, Perch, Bass and etc in the canals often I just don’t get the news. Tim Kent picked up minnows from the KH store and caught Pickerel in between showers.
Thomas Buben sent a picture of the fire on Sloop Island in Kitty Hawk. This was not a control burn but probably arson. This is the 3rd time in seven years. Really!
There were Puppy Drum caught on the Island at the Jetties. More Dogfish and Bluefish reported just north of the Jetties.
The winds are NNE at 21 and the water temp is 48 degrees. Cloudy, chance of rain, high winds, choppy Ocean with white caps, far as you can see.
