Fishing Report:
The warm weather has been such a welcome surprise this time of the year. Here is another one. Oregon Inlet had a Blue Marlin release yesterday here in the middle of March. They also caught a Bluefin keeper. Both Pirates Cove and Oregon Inlet reported plenty Yellowfin and a Wahoo. An Inlet boat caught Catfish. We have had a lot of rain.
TW’s Hampton Sylvia sent in his first picture of 2020. He caught Shad fishing the pier.
As for surf fishing the Meachams caught Sea Mullet again at ramp 55 and there was the same at ramp 48 with some Blow Toads and Puppy Drum added in.
The winds are SW at 15 and the water temp is 50 degrees. Cloudy, chance of showers, breezy, clean swells.
