Surf fishing was good yesterday on all the beaches south of us. From the Avon beach there were Sea Mullet, Specks, Gray Trout and Bluefish. There were Puppy Drum, big Sharks, Bluefish and Blow toads at the Point. Further south at Frisco and Hatteras, anglers caught Puppy Drum and Bluefish.   

Oregon Inlet Fishing Center reported a 187 lb Bluefin, some Yellowfin and one Blackfin.

There has been a little action from the Little Bridge on the causeway. News of a few Shad, small Specks and small Rockfish.

Jennette’s Pier reported a few Puffers.

We are going to have a cool down the next several days. Expecting rain for Saturday.

 

The winds are NE at 11 and the water temp is 53 degrees.
