Fishing Report:
We have another day of rain and then we will get a much needed break. We are expecting several days of the sun shining and warm temperatures.
Our store has closed as I have stated the last 2 days on the report and will again today. That does not affect me and fishing reports. As a great many readers of TW’s tackle already know I work from home and have been for 15 years. The fishing news has been scarce but if my readers keep me informed I will certainly pass it on.
I have one announcement this morning. The Ocracoke Fishing tournament has been cancel. Why would that be sad news? It would have been so much help for Ocracokes economy who is still trying to get over the last storm.
With the many storms we have had over the years we have all had to come together time and time again. This is different because of the uncertainty of everything. So I will mention the food banks are still up and running.
The winds are E at 17 and the water temp is 52 degrees. Showers. high winds, rough Ocean.
With heavy hearts, TW’s has made the decision to temporarily close our storefront. We want to be part of the solution, not the problem, in hopes that this passes soon. We care too much about our employees, customers and community to ignore the recommended guidelines. We are all in this together. Stay safe.
