Surf Fishing Report:
The water remains murky. Some Sea mullet and Spot.

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 61 degrees. The water is still flat and cold, the black flies are still biting and there is nothing can be done about either one.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum, Flounder, Puppy Drum and Croakers. All small stuff.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: No contact.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Sand Perch and Spot.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Spot and plenty of Crabs.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

For the nearshore boat the Spanish and Bluefish bite is still on. Also catches of Albacore, Amberjack, Tilefish, and Moonfish. The inshore charter caught Cobia, Black Tip Shark and Amberjack. The Headboat sailed and caught Croaker, Sea Mullet, Sea Bass, Trout, Bluefish and Puffer fish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Everyday the fleet is returning to the docks loaded with 50+ Yellowfin. There are also Dolphin and some Wahoo. There was a Blue Marlin and a White Marlin released.
