Surf Fishing Report:
A few Sea Mullet, Flounder and Spot. Small stuff.

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 66 degrees. Water is calm and glassy, another scorcher.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported early morning Trout, croakers and Black Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spadefish, small Flounder, few Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Spot and Spadefish.

Jennette’s: Spot.

Outer Banks: Spot and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boaters are having fantastic days with catches of Amberjacks, Sharks, Bluefish and Cobia. The nearshore angler continues catching Bluefish and Spanish trolling around the Inlet. Nearshore could also lay claim to some citation Red Drum releases.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The news of the day was big Wahoo. They weighed in from 46 lbs to a whopping big 79 lbs. Plenty of Yellowfin, and some boats with their limits of Dolphin. Good number of Blue Marlin and White Marlin releases, one 550 pounder.
