Surf Fishing Report:
A few Sea Mullet and Spot caught yesterday.

The winds are S at 10 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Heavy rains this morning, a few joggers out, water is calm, more rain expected.


Sound Fishing Report:

Only a couple of anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway this morning. Not much going on.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A couple of small Flounder.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Slow.

Outer Banks: Some Sand Perch, Spot and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Boat fishermen trolling for Bluefish and Spanish continue having good luck outside the Inlet and a short distance off shore along the beach. King Mackerel and Albacore were also caught. Inshore caught Bluefish, Flounder and Cobia. Miss Oregon Inlet caught a good amount of Flounder along with Sea Mullet, Spot, Sea Robin, Shark, Pins and Pigs.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet caught sizeable Yellowfin, some Blackfin and a significant amount of gaffer Dolphin. Plenty Wahoo caught, limits of Tilefish and some Black Sea Bass. Several citation Sailfish were released.
