Surf Fishing Report:
Sea mullet, Bluefish and Croaker. The Kimble children caught more than 100 Blues in a 2 hr time fishing the duck surf. Dad said it was time to fire up the smoker.

The winds are W at 5 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Ocean is flat and glassy, overcast, PM thunderstorms. Reminding everyone to take our lightening storms serious and give you plenty of time to get off the beach. We had a fatality on the Carova Beach yesterday. So Sad.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum and Croaker.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 30 lb Cobia, Flounder and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Spades and Spot.

Jennette’s: Croaker, Sea Mullet and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: Sea mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boaters caught Puppies, Red Drum, Flounder and Trout. Nearshore decked King Mackerel, Albacore and plenty of Spanish and Blues.

 

Offshore Boats Report:

 A stormy start on land gave way to a good day of fishing for the fleet. Plenty of Tilefish, good numbers of Yellowfin, few Gaffers and Wahoo, one weighing in at 67 lbs.
