Surf Fishing Report:
There are Sea Mullet, small Spot and Bluefish along the beaches.

The winds are WNW at 6 and the water temp is 64 degrees. The water is flat and clear, overcast, PM showers, wind switching to NE later today should give us a break with the heat. With days of flat water, the paddle boarders have had a field day.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Black Drum, Croakers, Spot and Trout, a few keepers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Spadefish and Sea Mullet. Water temp is 68 degrees.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore Anglers caught Specks, Red Drum and Cobia, one weighing in at 70 lbs.

Nearshore fishermen trolling for Bluefish and Spanish continue having good luck outside the Inlet and a short distance off shore along the beach.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
A good day for fat Yellowfin. Some Dolphin were caught and also several Wahoo. There were Billfish releases.
