Surf Fishing Report:
There are reports the surf fishing on the north beaches in the Corolla area is pretty good. On our south beaches, there are Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Croakers and small Spot.

The winds are NE at 10 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Partly cloudy/sun, Ocean is a little rough, water is clear. It is a nice day on the Outer Banks.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, some keepers, small Black Drum and Croakers. Lots of Croakers in the sound and Crabbing is really good.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Spanish and Albacore.

Nags Head: Spanish, Bluefish and Trout.

Jennette’s: Spadefish, Pigfish, Bluefish and Pompano.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Blues.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boats traveling along the beach caught plenty of Bluefish and Spanish. A few Flounder were caught also. Inshore reported a Red Drum, Trout, Sea Mullet and Bluefish inside the inlet.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Dolphin bite was good yesterday for the offshore fleet. Nice Wahoo, Blackfin and some Yellowfin were caught. Anglers’ bottom fishing decked Sea Bass and Tilefish.

There were billfish releases.
