Surf Fishing Report:
Croaker, Blues and Sea Mullet.

The winds are SW at 10 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Small clean waves, cloudy, humid hot day.  


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, some keepers, Spot, Black Drum and Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Pompano and Bluefish.

Nags Head: slow.

Jennette’s: Blues, Menhaden and a small Cobia

Outer Banks: Small Puppies, Croaker, Blues and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Trout fishing has been exceptionally good for inshore fishing the last 2 days. Some boats catching their limits. Also Bluefish, Flounder and Sea Bass. Nearshore with plenty of Bluefish, Spanish and a couple of Red Drum measuring 40 and 42 in. The Headboat did well catching flounder, sea mullet, bluefish, pinfish, pigfish, gray trout, sea bass, puffers, and a triggerfish

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Yellowfin Tuna fishing has slowed the last couple of days. A few Yellowfin, Dolphin, limits of Tilefish, Wahoo, one citation 55 lbs and Grouper. There were Blue and White Marlin releases.
